Northumbria University

I am Nantia, an educated architect from Greece.  I hold an MSc degree in IT Product Design from the University of Southern Denmark with design experiments in musical knitting, wearable probes and interactive objects. Currently, I am in the 3rd year my PhD in Digital Jewellery, Co-Creativity, Sense of Self in Northumbria University in the UK.

During my studies, I was privileged to be introduced to design research and participatory practices and to gain research experience in collaborating with outstanding researchers from the departments of social science, communication and design.  Understanding how people feel, and experience a situation is an important part of my design practice. My work is personal and intimate. I enjoy travelling and making illustrations.
