The Ethical Roadmap

The Ethical Roadmap is a set of discursive resources to support the enactment of ethical practices throughout Design and HCI research projects. The physical roadmap is a toolkit of seven packages: values, team members, moral qualities critical friends, consent, provocations and warp&weft. Find out more about the resources on the Ethical Roadmap website In order to grow a community and share ethical practices or dilemmas with other research teams in comparable contexts we have made innovative use of an online open source platform (GitHub). The result is a way for research teams to create a living document of their views, values and agreed practices on ethical issues related to a project as a team and over time.

This project was developed as part of the EPSRC Enabling Ongoingness: Content Creation and Consumption in The New Digital Age
